In order to attend MATS, you or a member of your visiting party must be a employed within the heavy-duty trucking industry. You can register for free beginning Monday, December 3 by visiting Attendee Registration. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $10 and submit them for your registration at any registration desk within the show. To access the show floor, you must display your Attendee Badge at all times. Registration desks, where your badge will be printed are located in all wings of the Kentucky Exposition Center. For locations of registration desks within the show, please see our Floor Plan.
There are 2 routes for obtaining a VIP badge.
1. You can register as a VIP for $99 by selecting the VIP upgrade option in the Attendee Registration form.
2. You can be registered as a VIP by one of the exhibiting companies in the show.
Each registration entitles you to a badge that is good for all three days of the show. You will not have to re-register or pay for your second or third day at the show.
Children under the age of 14 are not required to register, and will not need a badge.
For those attendees registering prior to the complimentary deadline, badges will be mailed the few days in February arriving in homes the first and second week of March. If your badge does not arrive or you register after the deadline, we suggest bringing your registration confirmation (either a printed copy or on your phone). The registration attendants can then lookup your registration via the Reg Number or by scanning the barcode.
Please bring your badge or registration confirmation to any of the on-site registration areas. The registration attendants can update your address, email, etc. and exchange your old badge for a new one.
As long as you successfully pre-registered prior to the show, you may visit any one of the above mentioned registration areas and have another badge printed out for you. Having mobile access to your email as well as your registration ID number will help expedite the process.
There are six on-site registration areas. They are located in North Wing Lobby, South Wing Lobby A, South Wing Lobby B, rear entrance of the North Wing, West Wing Lobby, and Pavilion. They are all equiped to print badges, register new attendees, etc., so we suggest going to the closest registration area to where you parked.
We encourage all visitors from foreign countries to contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate near your location to determine how to apply and to estimate the time required for visa issuance. While we have no influence over the visa issuance process, we do provide an Official Invitation Letter by completing the form here, International Invitation.
Show Directories are available at all registration entrances to the show. Please see the tables just outside of Registration to pick-up your complimentary copy.
The official MATS die-cast truck is available for purchase at Booth #12004 on the western wall of the North Wing.
Official show t-shirts are available for purchase in Booth #41044 in the South Wing Lobby and on the eastern wall of the North Wing at Booth #16285.
We suggest using any combination of the map found in the Official Show Directory, the floor plan found in the MATS App, the You-Are-Here signs placed throughout the show, and the aisle signs found on the carpet at the intersection of major show aisles. All booths are numbered in ascending order from East to West (left-right on maps) and North to South (top to bottom on maps).
Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for rent in the West Wing Lobby near registration. We suggest reserving equipment in advance of the show by contacting Gould’s Discount Medical at (502) 491-2000.
There are various concession stands spread throughout each wing of the Kentucky Expo Center. For more dining options, along with ample seating, please visit the main indoor food courts in the South Wing & Pavilion or the large tented outdoor food court located in the Conference Room parking lot just outside the South Wing.
Wi-Fi is available in select areas of the Kentucky Expo Center. Cost varies based on level of access and can be determined by clicking on the “Available Wireless Network” on your mobile device and accessing the payment page of the internet connection.
Animals are not permitted inside of the Kentucky Expo Center, except those service dogs that have been specifically trained to aid a person with a disability. All service dogs must be harnessed or leashed at all times and under the direct control of its owner. Emotional support or comfort animals are not allowed indoors. Any attendee with an animal that does not meet these requirements will be asked to remove the animal from the Exposition Center immediately. Failure to do so will result in removal of the attendee and animal from the premises.
The Kentucky Expo Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outdoors at a minimum of 10’ from any entrance doors.
First Aid Stations are located in the North Wing Lobby near escalators and West Wing Lobby near registration.
Unfortunately, given the number of press conferences, seminars, meetings, etc., we are unable to make pages or announcements during show hours. We suggest that, prior to entering the show, you pre-arrange a meeting place should a member of your group get separated from the rest of the group. Also, please keep a close watch on any children you bring to the show. If a child has been separated from his/her group, please immediately report it to a First Aid station or one of the Show Management offices.

The PKY Truck Beauty Championship is located in the J Lot, directly behind the West Wing and Pavilion. You may exit through the rear of either of those buildings to see the competition.
The MATS concert announcement will be made in January. Tickets will be distributed from the sponsoring company's booth. No tickets are avaialble in advance of the show.

Parking is $10 for passenger vehicles and $30 for tractor/trailers. We do provide complimentary off-site tractor/trailer parking (with shuttle to/from the facility). The offsite shuttles will run Thursday 9AM-7PM, Friday 9AM-11PM, and Saturday 8AM-5PM.
The Kentucky Exposition Center is in charge of the enforcement of all parking regulations and the towing of any unauthorized vehicles; MATS Show Management does not have any control over parking enforcement/towing.
