LG Hepler Trucking

My father was in the trucking industry in NC for 53 years. After my mother (the bookkeeper for the small fleet) got breast cancer, my father asked if I could help with the family business. I drove and helped manage for 13 years. During that time, we attended our first Mid-America Trucking Show. My father developed Lewy Body Dementia and had to close the company. This year when my bookkeeping job slowed due to COVID, I started the family business back up. Now my 14 year old daughter, who has virtual school, travels with me in the same truck I drove 15 years ago. I never dreamed I could share with my daughter the experiences like I had shared with my father. I hope to share her first truck show experience at the upcoming event.
